Red Jacket Beach FAQs

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in time is 3:30 p.m. Check-out is 10:30 a.m. 
For cottages, check-in is 4 p.m. Check-out is 10 a.m. 

Deposits

An advance deposit equal to the first night‘s room rate is required to guarantee all reservations. We accept deposits using major credit cards or, with sufficient time for mailing, a personal check. 

For Townhomes/Vacation Homes Only:
For reservations of 1–3 nights, the first night’s deposit is due at the time of reservation. For reservations of 4 or more nights, a 50% deposit is due at time of reservation. Full balance is due at check-in. 

Cancellations

For 2020 stays: due to COVID-19, we are offering cancellations up to 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty.  

For 2021 stays: for cancellations ten days or more prior to arrival, a $25 processing fee will be retained. For cancellations within ten days of arrival, the full the deposit will be retained.

Additional Guests

Cots: $25 plus tax per day
Cribs: $20 plus tax per stay for a portable crib (similar to Pack-n-Play)

WiFi Internet Access

All public areas and rooms have free wireless Internet access.

Dining for the 2020 season features options to make it easier to enjoy a meal or drinks while social distancing.

Pool Hours

Indoor pool: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Outdoor pool: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Accessibility

Red Jacket Beach Resort offers disabled guests several options to make their stay more enjoyable, including first floor rooms, access ramps, grab bars and stools in showers, Visual Alarm, TDD phone equipment, and raised toilet. Indoor and outdoor pool decks and our restaurant and pub are wheelchair accessible. Please let our reservation agents know your accessibility requirements. 

Parking

Parking at Red Jacket Beach Resort resort is limited. Guests with reservations in a standard guest room, family room, or suite are provided one parking space per unit. Guests with reservations in a cottage or longer-term rental are provided with two parking spaces per unit. Additional parking space(s), if available, are at the discretion of the management based on occupancy and will incur an additional nightly fee. Arrangements should be made in advance for oversized vehicles such as boat trailers. For these and other parking-related questions, please contact Red Jacket Beach Resort directly at 508-398-6941.

Charcoal Grills

Charcoal is not provided, but several stores are within a short drive.

Laundry

Coin-operated washers and dryers are available on the first floor in the spa wing, and are available daily until 8 p.m. Complimentary soap is provided. Access may be limited during the 2020 season 

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms or public interior areas.

Drone Use

Due to our proximity to the Barnstable Municipal Airport, and to comply with FAA rules and regulations, the resort is a designated “No Drone Zone.” The operation or use of drones (or any unmanned aerial systems) on or above our resorts is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy may involve eviction from your accommodations as well as confiscation of drone equipment, and may subject violators to damages, including, but not limited to: damages for violations of privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory fines and legal fees.

Use of Other Red Jacket Resorts

As a guest of Red Jacket Beach Resort, you are invited to use the facilities, amenities, and private beaches at any of our Red Jacket sister resorts during your stay.
