Fourth of July Celebrations
Cape Cod is THE place to be when celebrating our nation’s birthday.

Summer is roaring on Cape Cod, and the mid-Cape area is full of exciting events for the entire family. And this year, our nation's independence isn't the only thing we have to celebrate, so join in the fun!
These family activities are planned for Hyannis, and traditional parades and celebrations are scheduled in Barnstable Village, Cotuit, and Hyannis Port
Family-friendly Activities
HYANNIS HARBOR boat parade (2:00 p.m.)
Hyannis Marina invites all to a July 4th boat parade. The best viewing is along Ocean Street at Hyannis Harbor.

(11:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.)
Live entertainment, kids' shows, antique car parade, and more. The evening will end with a free concert from the Cape Symphony Joy4July Concert at 8:00 P.M.
Local tip: if you are staying at Green Harbor Resort and are up for a bike ride, Main Street in Hyannis is about 1.5 miles from the resort.

Monday, July 4
BARNSTABLE-west barnstable PARADE (9:00 a.m.)
A 1.2-mile parade of decorated cars, floats, police, and fire vehicles to leave the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex parking lot travel east on Route 6A, turn left on Millway then right on Commerce Road back to Route 6A.
HYANNIS PORT MINI-MARATHON & PARADE (11:00 a.m.)
The traditional fun run starts at the Post Office at 9 a.m., followed by the parade at 11 am. Route begins at the Hyannis Port Post Office on Longwood Avenue, turns left onto Washington Avenue, turns right onto Lafayette Avenue, left onto Winchester Avenue, left onto Scudder Avenue and then continues onto Dale Avenue to the West Beach Club.
COTUIT PARADE (11:00 A.M.)
The Parade begins on School Street (some walkers and fire vehicles line up on High Street and then turn onto School Street), then left on Main Street, and continues down Main Street to the prior Cotuit Elementary School. The termination point is the public field behind the old school building.
