Cranberry Bog Tours
Cape Cod is home to numerous cranberry bogs and if you're curious about how the berries are harvested, make sure to add a bog tour to your vacation agenda.

Cranberry Bog Tours (Harwich)
Leo and Andrea Cakounes offer the tours of the Cape's largest organic cranberry farm from March through December each year, but their busiest time is in September and October. After each tour, which goes over the equipment needed to harvest and grow the berries, guests are invited to visit the farm's gift shop and farmstand (which sells the farm's very own cranberry sauce!).
Annie's Crannies
View life on the bog in Dennis, MA. They might even put you to work cleaning your own berries on our antique screening equipment. See how Annie's turns the bees’ kiss of the cranberry blossoms into spun honey and beeswax candles. Their gift shop is open during harvest season in October and November.
A.D. Makepeace Company (Wareham)
If you're visiting the Cape in the fall, you can also visit A.D. Makepeace Company in Wareham for tours on select dates: Saturday, Oct. 28, 2019, Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, and Wednesday, October 23, 2019. All of the tours start at 1 p.m. The tours typically last 90 minutes and some even include time to pick your own cranberries!
