Cape Cod Train Rides
Some of the Cape's best vantage points (and views) are only accessible by rail.

Travel through the wooded landscapes of West Barnstable toward the bay, featuring the sand dunes and salt marshes of Sandwich. Guests will follow the rails to the Cape Cod Canal and then make the return trip to the Hyannis Rail Station.
Operating from May through October, Cape Cod Central Railroad offers narrated Shoreline Excursion Trains, Yankee Clipper Brunch Trains and Cape Cod Dinner Trains.
Where to Take a Train Ride
Cape Cod Central Railroad
The Cape Cod Central Railroad is a short 5-minute drive from Green Harbor Resort and a 15-minute drive from the rest of our Cape Cod Resorts.
Local tip: If you love trains of all kinds, be sure to visit the interactive model train display at Snow’s Home & Garden in Orleans (about a 30-minute drive from our resorts). Even better, stop at the Hot Chocolate Sparrow while you are there -- it’s right across the street!. The Sparrow is known for their delicious specialty coffee and an incredible selection of hand-dipped chocolates.
How to Book or Plan a Train Ride
To book a trip in advance, visit the Cape Cod Central Railroad's website prior to your visit. You may book your excursion online and ensure that you get a seat on the train!
