Cape Cod Baseball League
Cape Cod Baseball League games are part of what makes the Cape so magical. With 10 teams in the league, you’re never far from a game (even if the Y-D Red Sox are away -- if they’re home, they’re just a few minutes from all of our resorts)!
Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale, former outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury, and former catcher Jason Varitek all played in the Cape Cod Baseball League, which means you might get to witness the next World Series winner or Red Sox phenom while you’re here. Games are free and usually have ample parking (but we would advise getting to any of the parks early to ensure your car doesn’t get stuck in the foul zone -- we don’t want any guests getting dents or broken windshields!). There are snack bars and 50/50 raffles to keep things interesting at all of the games and kids can usually entertain themselves on playgrounds or by playing catch if the game goes long.
