Red Jacket Mountain View FAQs


Check-in and check-out times vary by lodging type. 
Check-in for the hotel and townhomes is 3:30 p.m. Check-out is 10:30 a.m.
Check-in for Presidential Homes is 4 p.m. Check-out is 10 a.m.
Staff is available 24 hours for late check-ins. 


An advance deposit equal to the first night‘s room rate is required to guarantee all reservations. We accept deposits using major credit cards or, with sufficient time for mailing, a personal check.


For 2020 stays: due to COVID-19, we are offering cancellations up to 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty.  

For 2021 stays: for cancellations ten days or more prior to arrival, a $25 processing fee will be retained. For cancellations within ten days of arrival, the full the deposit will be retained.

Additional Guests

Cots: $25 plus tax per day
Cribs: $20 plus tax per stay for a portable crib (similar to Pack-n-Play)

WiFi Internet Access

Red Jacket Mountain View Resort has free wireless Internet that covers 100% of the property, including townhouses and Presidential Homes.

Dining and Delivery Service

Dining for the 2020 season features a delivery-based and Grab & Go system to make it easier to enjoy a meal or drinks while social distancing.

The outdoor pool is open daily from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. 


The Red Jacket Mountain View Resort has an accessible entrance, an elevator to service all floors, a wheelchair on property, and two rooms with queen beds. We are a dog-friendly resort. We welcome dogs to several rooms, selected especially for their creature comforts. Prior arrangements must be made before you bring your pet, and a nightly fee of $50 per dog, plus tax, applies. For more information, visit our pet-friendly page.

Electric Car Charging Station

The resort has a free, 240-volt charging station for your electric vehicle, located behind the water park.


Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms or public interior areas.

Drone Use

To ensure the safety and privacy of our guests, and to comply with FAA rules and regulations, the resort is a designated “No Drone Zone.” The operation or use of drones (or any unmanned aerial systems) on or above our resorts is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy may involve eviction from your accommodations as well as confiscation of drone equipment, and may subject violators to damages, including, but not limited to: damages for violations of privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory fines and legal fees.
