Resort FAQ's

Check In

Check in for the hotel and town homes is 3 p.m. Check out time is 11 a.m.

Check in for our Presidential Homes is 4 p.m. Check out time is 10 a.m.

Staff are available 24 hours for late check in.


An advance deposit equal to the first night‘s room rate is required to guarantee all reservations. For payment of the advance deposit, we accept major credit cards or with sufficient time for mailing, a personal check. A refund of the advance deposit, less a $25 service charge, will be issued for all cancellations made up to 10 days prior to the date of arrival. Forfeiture of the advance deposit will result for all cancellations made less than 10 days from the date of arrival. All rates are subject to state and local taxes.

Additional Guests

Cots: $25 (plus tax) per day

Cribs: $20 (plus tax) per stay for a Porta-crib (similar to Pack-n-Play).

Wireless Internet Access

Red Jacket Mountain View has its own wireless network and 100 percent of the property, including the townhouses and Presidential Homes, is a wireless hotspot.

Accessibility Information

The Mountain View has an accessible entrance and two rooms with queen beds as well as a wheelchair on property, and elevator service to all floors.


Bring your furry friend along on your next vacation or weekend getaway – we welcome dogs to several rooms selected especially for their creature comforts. Prior arrangements must be made before you bring your pet, and a nightly fee of $50 (plus tax) applies. For more information visit our pet-friendly page.

Electric Car Charging Station

The resort has a free 240-volt charging station for your electric vehicle, located behind the water park.

What Does the Resort Fee Cover?

A $25 daily resort fee is added per room (not per person) from July 1 – August 24, and during school vacation weeks. This fee includes activity programs, bonfires, pool and water park towels, chairs and umbrellas,  wireless Internet, movie nights, and Xbox tournaments; local calls and incoming faxes; daily coffee in the lobby.

Resort fee is subject to tax. Some activities are subject to change or may have a small additional fee to cover the cost of materials.


Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms or public interior areas.

Drone Usage

To ensure the safety and privacy of our guests, the resort is a designated “No Drone Zone.” The operation or use on or above our resorts of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy may involve eviction from your accommodations as well as confiscation of drone equipment, and may subject violators to damages, including, but not limited to, damages for violations of privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory fines and legal fees.
