Finding a venue or even a location for your wedding can be a daunting task and we want to help take the stress out of imagining what it would be like to get married in the White Mountains – because what could be more memorable than that?
Here’s the breakdown of a day in the life of a Red Jacket Mountain View Resort bride, from waking up to enjoy breakfast with a panorama of the Moat Mountains on your balcony, to sipping mimosas in our bridal suite. We’re taking the guesswork out of venue shopping – one less thing for you to worry about!
Red Jacket Mountain View has a full-service dining room where you can enjoy breakfast with your entourage, but a better option might be room service! Order ahead and sip your coffee as you get your head wrapped around the fact that this is your big day. If you’re not ready for a full breakfast, we get it. Order something and stash it in the fridge for a minute where your nerves aren’t getting to you. Someone at the front desk would be happy to microwave it for you when you’re ready to fuel up.
Breathe in, breathe out, take a yoga class at a local studio with your bridal party! If you’d rather stay on site, take a walk or hike around the Resort. We offer different activities throughout the day and there’s always something for everyone. If there’s a specific activity you would like to plan for your bridal party, your coordinator can help with ideas, planning and organizing.
Time to go glam your girl squad at one of the many local salons in North Conway. Red Jacket Resort is right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Mount Washington Valley, which means you are near everything from nail salons to hair and makeup studios. If you would rather get dolled up at the resort, there is plenty of room in the Ledges bridal suite for your stylist!
12:00 – 2:45 p.m.
Relax, sit back, and sip your mimosa your private bridal suite. Now is the time to focus on you — your Red Jacket wedding coordinator has got all the wedding details covered, like making sure the reception space is perfectly setup. Our banquet hall, Hampshire Hall, is a blank canvas for you to create exactly what you envision for your reception and our wedding coordinator will bring it to life. From the centerpieces to the wedding favors placed at each setting, you don’t have to lift a finger.
Dress, shoes, and veil are all on now, and it’s time to walk down the aisle. Your ceremony will be perfect, whether you have it in front of our roaring fireplace with mountain views at Champney’s or have it outside at our woodland arbor amidst beautiful trees and flowers.
Phew, the nerves have passed by now and you are grinning from ear to ear, which is perfect because it’s time for pictures with stunning views of the Moat Mountain Range as your backdrop.
